Claire is a degree-qualified nutritionist with a diploma in positive psychology who is a best-selling author passionate about making it easier to create a healthier life. She has worked in the health and wellness industry for over 18 years, is an in-demand speaker, and regularly features on Breakfast TV, Fair Go, Seven Sharp, and Newstalk ZB, sharing her thoughts and tips on wellbeing. Claire has worked for Diabetes NZ, Healthy Food Guide magazine, the Millennium Institute of sport and professional rugby, as well as filming multiple TV shows.
Her ‘It’s a Beautiful Day’ planners are also in high demand, helping people get organised, create healthy habits, keep on track with goals and boost energy levels.
Claire is the owner and director of the private nutrition practise and corporate wellness company Mission Nutrition and has a team of Dietitians and Nutritionists. They work alongside her throughout New Zealand.
As a qualified nutritionist with wisdom from her own experiences, Claire is passionate about inspiring others to get the most out of their lives by improving their understanding of how food, sleep, exercise, and the mind have a part to play in their physical, emotional and mental wellbeing.
Claire is a passionate ambassador for Bowel Cancer NZ and also helps with Monty Betham’s Steps for Life programme.
Claire’s approach is practical, realistic, and down-to-earth. She juggles her work and two businesses, alongside two boys, who are 5 and 9, so she knows how to walk the talk when it comes to living well with a full-on life!
