Prized Life was co-founded by entrepreneurial identical kiwi twins Helen and Clare, with a mission to make value-driven living the norm. They are passionate about supporting businesses making a difference in their communities by sharing the individual stories behind each brand.
From their personal experiences, Helen and Clare recognised the growing consumer demand for value-based products and the strong desire to look after people and the planet. They set out to find brands selling products that matched their values and found it was difficult and time-consuming. They decided to do something about it and, in March 2020, launched Prized Life as an online directory, just as the pandemic hit.
In February 2022, prizedlife.com was launched as a marketplace, a one-stop shop for consumers and businesses showcasing the largest collection of products and services from local businesses across Australia and New Zealand that put values first.
Prized Life is unique, dynamic and engaging, supporting brands to grow and succeed by providing a modern and vibrant solution built with technical excellence. They believe that people care about where their products come from, how they are made and who made them.
There are ten Prized Life values: Locally made, cruelty free, upcycled and recycled, organic, sustainable, natural, slow production, donations, sustainable packaging and ethically made.
Both Helen and Clare are married with young families and live in Manawatu, New Zealand. They’ve spent the last five years exploring Australia, and between them have lived and worked in Cairns, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Mackay, Outback Queensland and Perth.
Clare is a chartered accountant, small business expert, and Prized Life’s technical whiz. Helen is a community visionary, social expert and the creative force of the brand. They both love the outdoors and are passionate about making value-driven living the norm by genuinely connecting consumers with value-driven brands and products from around Australia and New Zealand.
