Kate Ivey
Kate Ivey is the founder and managing director of Kate Ivey Fitness – creator of the highly successful online health and fitness community and DediKate App.
Kate believes in the many benefits of leading a positive, healthy and balanced lifestyle. She does not believe in quick fixes and fad diets, and her balanced and no-fuss approach to fitness empowers women to be fit, strong and confident.
With ten specialised, experienced and relatable trainers, a nutritionist and a super supportive community, DediKate inspires busy women to be successful with their physical and mental health and fitness for the long term.
Kate is a mother of three and is married to Mark. The family live on a sheep, beef and deer farm in the stunning Mackenzie Country near Aoraki Mount Cook in the South Island of New Zealand.
She has a Bachelor of Physical Education majoring in Exercise Prescription and Management and a Bachelor of Science majoring in Psychology.
With over fifteen years’ experience in the health and fitness industry, she started DediKate after struggling with her fitness, self-confidence, juggling motherhood and life. Kate realised that to be successful, she had to get rid of the ‘all or nothing’ attitude, ditch the scales and start focusing on being at her best, not focused on weight loss. Kate understands first-hand the time demands placed on women, and DediKate's workouts are time-efficient, effective, and the advice is practical and motivational.
DediKate has a highly engaged following and growing membership in New Zealand and successfully launched into Australia in July 2021.
